The Prunus ‘Shirofugen’ (Shirofugen Cherry)
Meaning ‘White God’ in Japanese, the Shirofugen cherry is a open branched and spreading tree that is well loved by gardeners due to its beautiful double white blossom which are much longer lasting than other cherry trees. Leaves that begin their life in shade of bronze-red, turn to green before finishing up in the autumn in a lovely orange-red colour.
The tree takes a unique shape and is a medium sized cherry tree. It would be ideal as a focal point for any sized garden.
